Dredge takes place in 2023 and follows a fisherman who ventures out into an archipelago to discover increasingly Lovecraftian creatures. The ocean holds a lot of secrets, and Dredge is one of those games that explores its dark underbelly in subtle moments. Your goal is to dredge the surrounding depths for various fish and deep-sea curios while exploring these secluded isles to complete quests and unravel more about the island’s history.

You’ll be able to find items by fishing in the ocean, and many will also drop Research Parts that can help you with various tasks throughout the game. As you continue to dredge the waters, you’ll be rewarded with more and more valuable fish. These can be sold for a lot of money and will also be needed for certain quests in the game.

Dredge is currently available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Dredge is currently unavailable on Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus even though it is available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 systems, as well as the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S systems, but as we mentioned, neither service has added the title to its subscription plan libraries.
