Resource Locations in Smalland

As a Smallfolk, your goal is to survive in a huge world full of giant insects and massive obstacles. You will need to gather resources, build houses and a base, and do all sorts of things to survive in this world.

You’ll have to scavenge the world for items like food, tools, and even materials such as Metal that you can use to craft your character. These resources will help you to grow stronger and more powerful, and scavenging is a key part of the game’s survival mechanics.

A lot of the resources you find in the wilds are essential to your survival, but some are harder to come by than others. For example, flint is one of those rarer resources you’ll have to look for worldwide. Here’s the list of all the resources in Smalland: Survive the Wilds Map and their locations:

ResourceLocation and Description
ChitinOne of the most important resources in Smalland Survive the Wilds is Chitin, which you can collect from hard-shelled bugs like Sawyer Beetles and Cockroaches. Chitin is required to craft items such as a Chitin Axe or Spear, and it can also be used to upgrade some of your weapons.
You can kill and harvest these bugs on the Forests, Beaches, and Graylands areas in the South-West region of the game.
SilkOne of the best resources you will need to survive in Smalland is silk, a material that can be used to craft various items. This resource can be obtained by breaking Spider Cocoons in a cave in the mountain region near the NPC Lisandra on the northwestern side of the map.
You will need flint shears or higher-level tools to break the cocoons, and once you have them, you can collect the silk inside. This is an invaluable resource that can be used to create many items in Smalland, so it’s essential for you to get this resource as soon as possible.
SeedsRye, Poppy, Mauve, Foxgrass. Seeds can be found throughout the map in a variety of plants. They are essentially tiny seeds that can be crafted into Seed Oil. This ingredient is often needed in many Smalland recipes.
Seeds are one of the few things that can be found from a simple interaction with objects and are incredibly important to the game’s progression. They are used to create a wide range of items in the game, including weapons and tools, so it’s essential that you have access to Seeds as soon as possible.
MetalOne of the most important resources is Metal, which players will need in the game’s later stages.
To gather Metal, players must visit the map’s northwest region. Here, players can find piles of scrap metal that are partially buried in the ground. Once they whack them with their pickaxe, they will be broken down into Iron Shards that can be used for crafting purposes.
Metal is an essential resource for crafting and upgrading various tools and equipment throughout the game. It is also dropped by late-game creatures, so collecting as much of it as possible is important.
Honey CrumbleHoney Crumble can be crafted into potions and healing bandages. There are many locations where Honey Crumble can be found, like Bees, you will find a lot around by Dust as well.
Honey Crumble can also be found in forests, swamps, and ruins which can be explored. These places can be found by chatting with NPCs like Lisandra, Nok, and Drustana.
Petals and NectarNectar is another important resource to have in your arsenal. This material allows the crafting of many different food and healing items, which can help keep you alive and healthy.
Having Nectar on hand can make all the difference in your quest to survive as a tiny creature. Besides being used to craft various food items, Nectar can also be used to tame bugs and other animals in the wild.
Nectar can be found in specific locations on the Map, primarily in Oak Forests and different Ruins. Several recipes in the game require this substance. For example, Pixie Omelette, Forest Delight, and Health Elixirs all require Nectar.
FlintThe other important resource in the Map is Flint. This is a material that can be gathered by breaking gravel blocks. It is an important material in the game’s early stages as it is needed to create a stonecutter (a crafting bench) and a windmill.
It can also be melted into iron ingots to create a furnace that can be used for crafting Metal. You can also use it to craft stone slabs which can be used for building the base.
Insect FurIn order to obtain the Insect Fur in Smalland: Survive the Wilds, you must first hunt insects. Only furry insects, however, will drop this material. As a result, you must seek out spiders, bees, and wasps.
Fortunately, the bees spawn at the beginning point, so you may kill them for the Insect Fur. Wasps and spiders spawn at higher levels. Bees are, therefore, the best and easiest source of Insect Fur.
BonesBones are one of the main materials players must collect in Smalland Survive the Wilds. They can be found from Geckos and are essential for crafting your weapons and armor.
