Neon Drive On is a fast, free arcade duel for Android. You drive a glowing car, time a punch and smash the ball into your rival’s goal. Think car-soccer meets air hockey, built for touch screens, with online 1v1, six arenas and a big garage. No ads, no accounts, no purchases.
What Is Neon Drive On?
Two neon cars share a small arena with one ball. Each car has a launcher on its nose, and the whole game is about hitting the ball at the right moment. Score more goals than your rival and you win.
If you like car-soccer games such as Rocket League or the quick rallies of air hockey, you will feel at home. The difference is scale: it is a compact top-down duel you can finish in a few minutes.
How It Plays
Controls are simple: a slide-stick on the left and one big PUNCH button on the right. You can steer by pointing where you want to go, or switch to classic steer, gas and brake.

The punch is everything. A normal hit pushes the ball, a Good hit sends it faster, and a Perfect punch, with the launcher fully extended, makes it fly. It is strong but not an automatic goal, so angles and defence still matter.
You choose how matches end: most goals when the clock runs out, first to a goal target, or whichever comes first. A tie goes to a golden-goal overtime.
Online 1v1
Online play is the headline feature:
- Find a random player with one tap.
- Create a room and share the 5-character code with a friend.
Your rival’s name shows on the scoreboard, your garage choices are visible to them, and you can ask for a rematch right after the game. The game connects phones directly with WebRTC when possible and falls back to a relay otherwise.
Honest note: the game is new, so the online player pool is still small. For guaranteed matches, invite a friend.
Single Player and Training
No internet needed here. Play the CPU on Easy, Normal or Hard. It uses the same controls as you, with no cheating. New players should start with Training, a two-minute guide to the controls and Perfect-punch timing.
Six Arenas
Classic, Pillars, Pinball, Diamond, Tunnel and Sniper. Each changes the shape of the pitch and what is on it, from open space to pillars and bumpers. Arenas are built to be symmetrical, so neither player has an advantage.

Power-Ups
Switch power-ups on in the match setup for short boosts: Speed, Mega Punch, Long Arm and Slow Rival. They are optional and work in every mode, online included.
The Garage
Mix 13 car bodies, 27 launchers and 17 balls, from gloves and hammers to soccer, beach and disco balls. There are six colour themes plus options for car trails, drift effects and ball trails.

Look, Sound and Performance
The look is synthwave neon: glowing grids, bright trails and a big goal celebration. Music and sound effects are generated by the developer’s own code, and the artwork was made with the help of AI tools, which the developer states openly. The game is built with the open-source Godot Engine and capped at 60 FPS to keep phones cool. Vibration can be switched off.

Quick Tips
- Start in Training and learn the Perfect punch.
- Do not spam PUNCH. Wait until the ball is in reach.
- Use the walls for angled shots.
- Defend first, then counter-attack.
