A new Mafia game titled Mafia 4 is under development by Hangar 13. It will be a prequel, set between 1890 and 1920, following Salieri in Sicily.
Mafia is one of the most amazing franchises of all time in third-person shooter games. The first Mafia game was released in 2002 and brought so much success to the franchise. After this success, a sequel to the Mafia series was released by 2K Czech in 2010 under the name Mafia 2. Both of these games had a great storyline that connected each other and had relatively great gameplay features on an open-world map.
In 2016, the third sequel to the story was released, but this one looked more like a GTA game than a Mafia game. It was a game full of similar missions and lots of side missions.
After four years of releasing Mafia 3, a remake of these three legends, entitled Mafia: Definitive Edition, was also developed by Hangar 13 and released by 2K Czech. Now there is going to be another Mafia game, titled Mafia 4. Some rumors even say Hangar 13 is already gearing up for the development of Mafia 5.

Mafia 4 is being developed by the series creator, Hangar 13, and the game is being made using the Unreal Engine 5. We don’t know what the gameplay looks like yet, but rumors say the game will be a prequel with the codename Nero. The story of the game will definitely make Mafia franchise fans happy. It is set between 1890 and 1920, following Salieri in Sicily. We knew Salieri from the first Mafia game where we were working for him as Tommy Angelo.
As a Mafia fan, I want to see a game more like Mafia 1 and 2, not Mafia 3. We don’t want to do the same missions over and over again. If you’ve ever played Mafia 3, you’ll remember those similar missions that tear you away from the story. We don’t want to see it again! Let us just play the storyline.
