Things You Should Know Before Starting The Callisto Protocol

Like in almost all survival horror games, you should also know some things about The Callisto Protocol before starting to play it. Read on to this article to learn some crucial tips on the recently released survival horror piece.

The Callisto Protocol is a third-person survival horror game set in a distant, alien world where players control a character named Jacob Lee, who finds himself on the planet Callisto in 2320. The main character of the story is Jacob Lee, who is sent to a prison on Jupiter’s moon Callisto to fight against prisoners with an unknown disease and find out about the terrible secrets of the prison.

An interesting fact about The Callisto Protocol is that the game was supposed to be part of the world and timeline of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) at first. Then, the game was spun off into its own universe.

Is The Callisto Protocol Related to Dead Space?

One of the most interesting aspects of The Callisto Protocol is that it was developed by Striking Distance Studios. The game development studio was founded by former Dead Space lead Glen Schofield. The company has a vision for the Dead Space franchise’s future and has already started work on a sequel.
While The Callisto Protocol isn’t directly connected to the Dead Space franchise, it does share some similarities.
According to most reviewers, the combat in the game could have been more strategic, as in Dead Space, and the controls could be more refined. The game also lacks some of the graphical touches that made Dead Space so special.

Is The Callisto Protocol hard to play?

There are massive difficulty peaks. Even though the game starts off easy, you’ll have a tough time surviving unless you’re willing to go through the entire thing in easy mode.
Another issue is combat, which can be frustrating in certain areas. The main problem is that the melee weapon is slow and rarely gives you enough ammo to kill an enemy. It’s not uncommon to be unable to shoot an enemy and instead take damage.
The only way to avoid getting hit is to use the dodge function. Dodging is assigned to the same stick you use to move. If you’re in the wrong position, you can be tripped up by an attack, which can quickly wipe out your health bar.
The game is fun, though. It’s a challenging survival horror title that’s surprisingly well-made. It’s also a great showcase for next-gen consoles.

Does The Callisto Protocol Support Multiplayer?

Currently, there is no multiplayer for The Callisto Protocol. However, a co-op mode may become available soon.

The Callisto Protocol was originally planned as a single-player narrative game. But now the developer, Striking Distance Studios, has revealed its plans for DLC. These will include new story content, cosmetics, and other modes.

In the meantime, you can invite friends to watch you play. There is also a skill tree to help you get through the game. If you find yourself struggling, you can always use the difficulty modes. This will make the game a little easier.

Does The Callisto Protocol Require High Specs?

Whether you’re new to the world of The Callisto Protocol or a seasoned veteran, you may have wondered how high of a system you’ll need to play it. The game’s developers haven’t said exactly what system requirements the game needs, but they have said what specs are recommended and what specs are for Ultra PCs.

In order to get the most out of the game, you’ll want to make sure your system meets the following system requirements:
