Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Ascension Quests

There are a total of 26 heroes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Six of them are the main party heroes, and two of them are unlocked after completing the main story. If you wonder how to boost the skills of these heroes by completing their hero ascension quests, then this guide is for you!

All you need to do is follow the quests we have provided under the hero sections and complete the ascension quests. Keep in mind that the heroes must be in your party when you are going to try to unlock their ascension quests. Otherwise, you may not be able to reach certain quests.

Noah – Swordfighter

You need to complete the Side Story: Noah by starting to work with Mr. Samon and reaching Chapter 7 to unlock the ascension quest for Noah.

Mio – Zephyr

You need to complete the Side Story: Mio by reaching Upper Aetia in Chapter 6 to unlock the ascension quest of Mio.

Eunie – Medic Gunner

You need to reach The City in Chapter 5 and then return to the City Camp rest point to start Side Story: Eunie to unlock the ascension quest for Eunie.

Taion – Tactician

You need to reach Chapter 6, where you will start Talion’s ascension quest. After listening to someone talking about the sea in Agnus Castle, you need to return to Camp Inlet’s rest point, where you will start Side Story: Taion.

Lanz – Heavy Guard

You can start the ascension quest in Chapter 5. You also need to start the Side Story: Lanz by discussing the information fragment.

Sena – Ogre

You need to reach Chapter 7 and then visit The City to talk about grumpy Ghondor to start Side Story: Sena to unlock the ascension quest of Eunie.

Ethel – Flash Fencer

First, you need to complete the A Twisted Fate quest in Chapter 6. Later, you need to visit Colony Omega and interact with the locked lab door. This will let you follow a series of events that will make Ethel accessible as a hero.

Valdi – War Medic

You need to upgrade Dorrick, and thus complete a few quests to collect resources first. And then give these resources to Repapa, which will let you continue on different quests. Once you reach phase 5 in fixing Dorrick, you will complete additional quests such as True Culprit, Missing Parts, and Big Friendly Friend.

After completing these and reaching Chapter 6, you can get the I’m a Mechanic quest, which is the hero ascension quest. You also need to complete this quest to keep building Dorrick.

Zeon – Guardian Commander

You need to complete Forgotten Supplies and Lean Times in Colony 9 in Chapter 3, A Difficult Transition in Chapter 4, and For Colony 9 in Chapter 5. After that, you need to talk to Kite, which will start Reasons to Evolve her ascension quest.

Teach – Thaumaturge

First, you need to complete Teach’s Teachers quest, which is an Lv57 quest. Then, you need to complete Tutors: Sena and Eunie and Tutor: Taion, Live Combat Training, and Theoretical Knowledge quests, respectively.

Then you need to reach Chapter 4 to complete Tutor: Off-Seer and a Lesson in Off-Seeing quests. Later, you need to reach Chapter 6 and complete Tutor: Mio and Extracurricular Lesson quests. Once you complete all these, you can start the Shadow of Enmity hero ascension quest by visiting Teach.

Riku and Manana – Yumsmith

You need to reach Chapter 6 and then visit Michiba’s Canteen at The City, where you need to go to the Inlet Camp at Erythia Sea. Here, you can start the Culinary Repertoire hero ascension quest.

Gray – Full Metal Jaguar

First, you need to reach Chapter 5 to access The City. Then, you need to complete the Lovebirds quest, which will let you start the Payback for Treason hero ascension quest.

Isurd – Strategos

Once you reach Chapter 6, you need to complete the New Developments quest and then visit Colony Lambda. Here you can start the Effervescent Heart hero ascension quest.

Juniper – Stalker

You need to complete Tau-Tirkin Alliance, The Hunter, The Harvest, and Off-Seeing Customs in Chapter 4. Then you need to complete the Korresia Finds Her Calling, Cultural Exchange, and Lost Friend quests in Chapter 5. Later, you need to complete the Learning from Lambda quest in Chapter 6.

After you return to Colony Tau, you can start the Survivors hero ascension quest.

Ashera – Lone Exile

First, complete the “The Three Ravens” quest. You need to complete A Warrior’s Pride, Rules of the Hunt, and Indomitable quests to complete it. After that, you must reach Chapter 7 and unlock Noah’s Side Story. Later, you can start the Deep-Seated Scar ascension quest.

Alexandria – Incursor

You must complete the Finite Time, Enemies, Allies, and Harvest Day quests in Chapter 3. Later, you need to complete The Ouroboros Experiment in Chapter 4. Now you need to reach Chapter 5 and visit Colony Iota to start the Inescapable Past hero ascension quest.

Monica – Lost Vanguard

You need to complete the Side Story: Sena quest and reach Chapter 7 to unlock the Promise to the Future ascension quest for Monica.

Fiona – Signifier

You need to reach Chapter 6 and complete To Face Forward and Unease to start the A Farewell Reset ascension quest.

Triton – Soulhacker

All you need to do is reach Chapter 6 to unlock the My Memories hero ascension quest.

Ghondor – Martial Artist

First, you need to complete Side Story: Noah and then complete a bunch of quests in Agnus Castle. These will let you start the Knowing Your Family hero ascension quest.

Miyabi – Troubadour

You need to complete Side Story: Mio to unlock the character first. Later, you can start the Happiness Hero ascension quest by visiting her in the City.

Cammuravi – Seraph

First, you need to reach Chapter 6 and then visit Colony Omega Labs. You will have to follow a series of events that will let the hero class ascend.

Segiri – Machine Assassin

You need to complete the Shut-In, Prison Spring Clean, and Prison Refurbishment quests in Chapter 6. Later, you need to complete the Acknowledged Feelings and Contrary Emotions quests after you complete the Side Story: Noah quest. This will let you start the Invisible Bonds ascension quest.

Melia Antiqua – Kevesi Queen

First, you need to level up Noah to rank 10. Later, you should complete The City Pep Talk, Colony 9’s Backup, and Friction with Agnust quests. Then you can start From Atop Her Throne’s hero ascension quest.

Nia – Agnian Queen

You need to level up Mio to 10, and then you need to visit The Founder’s Memorial in The City, Agnus Castle, Maktha Wildwood in The Tower Camp Rest Spot in the Pentelas Region, and Rae-Bel Tableland in The Saffronia Tree in the Fornis Region to gather information. This will let you start the Grasping My Future quest.
