So, basically, we can say that the Elite Dangerous family continues to grow with DLCs. Let’s take a quick look at when Elite Dangerous Odyssey will be released and what it has to offer us.

Elite Dangerous Odyssey Trailer

The Odyssey DLC was announced on June 3, 2020, with the trailer below. We believe that Odyssey will take Elite Dangerous one step further, where we can already do many more things such as trading, bounty hunting, mining, planet to planet traveling, and exploration around the galaxy. With the trailer below, Frontier announced that a DLC will be released, where we can get off our spaceship and explore planets and space stations. It seems more trailers about the game will come on youtube.

Elite Dangerous Odyssey in a Nutshell

With Elite Dangerous Odyssey, you can now get off the ship, explore the space station or planets and take missions you liked. But, don’t forget that to be able to land your ships onto planets, you should have Elite Dangerous Horizon, though. Let’s turn back to the Odyssey again. In the Elite Dangerous Odyssey, cooperative missions and solo missions you can do with the characters you create will be waiting for you. You can also take a mission, talk to people, sell the cargo to the black market, or buy a new ship while roaming in the starport. To better understand what we are talking about, you should definitely watch the Elite Dangerous Odyssey Starport Tour video.

You can watch the gameplay video below, published by Elite Dangerous’s official Youtube account. As you will notice, a completely different Elite Dangerous experience will be waiting for us. I wonder how different missions will be available in the game with such a great open-world -galaxy-. But still, it isn’t possible to watch the video below and not get excited.

Weapons and clothes especially impressed us. Some designs like these really make us feel like we are in the 3300s. In terms of gameplay, the difficulty of the episodes can be discussed a little, but let’s not forget, this is only the Alpha version. There’s a lot of time to the full version, and we don’t think Frontier will leave the game that way.

You can find more information about Elite Dangerous Odyssey on their official Youtube account or website. We strongly suggest you watch the Road to Odyssey video below to get an idea about Elite Dangerous Odyssey.
