Everything Is Crab Mods Guide

Eat everything you can find, grow increasingly strange body parts, and prove that survival really does belong to the weirdest animal.

Everything Is Crab Mods: Evolve Into The Ultimate Creature explores how community modifications can improve combat, creature progression, ultrawide presentation, allied behavior, and long-term runs in Everything Is Crab. Developed by Odd Dreams Digital, this colorful action roguelite places players inside a living ecosystem filled with predators, prey, food, changing environments, and endless opportunities for unusual evolution. Each run begins with a small and vulnerable creature, but eating, hunting, scavenging, and surviving allow it to acquire animal-inspired abilities that transform both its appearance and fighting style. Wings, claws, shells, horns, tentacles, powerful legs, and other biological features can combine into bizarre creatures that look scientifically questionable but perform surprisingly well. The current Everything Is Crab mod collection expands this unpredictable formula with automatic melee attacks, improved charmed allies, ultrawide support, extended Infinite Mode access, and a powerful cheat menu for testing evolutions and statistics.

Adapt Before Something Eats You

Every run in Everything Is Crab takes place inside an active ecosystem where creatures have their own behaviors and survival strategies. Some animals become useful sources of food, while others can quickly end an unprepared run.

Eating and exploring provide opportunities to select new evolutions. The game includes more than 125 evolution-based abilities and specializations, creating many possible combinations. Players can become fast scavengers, heavily protected survivors, aggressive predators, social leaders, or awkward mixtures of several strategies.

Mods give players additional control over these builds without replacing the core cycle of adaptation and survival.

AutoAttack

AutoAttack changes melee combat by automatically targeting nearby hostile creatures and using an equipped melee attack whenever it becomes available. Ranged weapons remain manual, so players must still aim and fire projectiles themselves.

The modification also removes the movement slowdown that normally happens during an attack. This creates a smoother, more mobile combat style similar to survival games where attacks activate automatically while the player concentrates on positioning.

AutoAttack can be particularly useful during crowded encounters. Instead of repeatedly clicking while avoiding predators, players can focus on movement, food collection, and environmental dangers.

The mod may conflict with other files that significantly change aiming, movement, or input behavior, so it should be tested carefully before beginning an important run.

BetterSocial Everything Is Crab

BetterSocial

Certain evolutions allow players to charm other creatures and turn them into temporary allies. These companions can be helpful, but their behavior may sometimes feel unreliable.

BetterSocial improves charmed allies by making them safer and easier to control. Friendly fire is disabled, preventing the player and companions from accidentally damaging one another. Allies also prioritize enemies that attack the player or have recently been attacked by the player.

Once companions choose a target, they remain focused until it is defeated or until ten seconds pass without landing a hit. They also try to stay near the player while exploring.

Unwanted allies can be dismissed by aiming at them and pressing R. Together, these adjustments make social and charm-based builds feel more dependable without turning companions into unstoppable predators.

Ultrawide Support

Ultrawide Support removes the forced black bars displayed on wider monitors and expands the camera view without stretching the image.

The mod adds an Ultrawide option directly to the settings menu and remembers the selected preference through MelonLoader. Its dynamic field-of-view adjustment gives players a wider look at the surrounding ecosystem, which can help them notice approaching predators, food, and points of interest.

Menus may still appear unusual at certain aspect ratios, but normal gameplay uses the additional screen space more effectively.

InfiniteUnder10

Infinite Mode normally represents one of the game’s later challenges. InfiniteUnder10 makes it available after successful runs on Pressure levels one through nine.

After completing an eligible run, players can select an Infinite button on the results screen and continue with their current creature. The chosen Pressure remains the starting point, while the game’s existing extinction and scaling systems gradually increase the difficulty.

This is ideal when a particularly entertaining build reaches the normal ending too soon. Instead of saying goodbye to a creature covered in wings, horns, and unnecessary legs, players can continue evolving until the ecosystem finally catches up.

Pressure 10 and higher remain unchanged.

UnlockAll Cheat Menu

UnlockAll provides an in-game menu that opens with F5. It can immediately unlock achievements, Pressure levels, and evolutions, although supporter skins are excluded.

Players can also edit creature statistics such as speed, damage, and health in real time. Additional controls allow forced level-ups and extra Mutagen points, making the mod useful for testing combinations without completing several full runs first.

These unlocks can permanently change or corrupt progression data. The mod page strongly advises backing up the save folder before using any unlock feature.

UnlockAll is best treated as an experimentation tool. Using it to test one rare evolution can be helpful, but unlocking everything immediately may remove much of the discovery that makes the original progression rewarding.

Install The Mods Carefully

All five current Modsportal additions require MelonLoader version 0.7.3. Players must install MelonLoader, launch the game once, extract the chosen mod, and place its folder inside the game’s Mods directory.

Back up save data before installing anything, especially UnlockAll. Add one modification at a time and test movement, evolutions, allies, menus, combat, and save loading before combining several files.

The current Modsportal collection contains five mods and no separate tools or articles.
