One of the biggest surprises from this year’s Summer Game Fest was a new sci-fi horror game called Fort Solis. It was announced by publisher Dear Villagers and developer Black Drakkar Games. Starring Troy Baker (Joel from The Last of Us) and Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2).
Fort Solis is a third-person thriller set over one long night on Mars. Despite being billed as an indie game, Fort Solis feels much bigger. The devs promise a high-fidelity world that pushes modern gaming technology.
What is the plot of Fort Solis?
The story of the game is set in 2080 and revolves around an engineer named Jack Leary, who responds to a mysterious distress signal at the base where he works. Engineer Jack Leary heads there despite storm warnings to investigate when he receives this distress signal from a neighboring mining base.
However, as Leary arrives at the abandoned Fort Solis, he discovers only a figurative ghost town upon arriving, and things start to unravel and escalate out of control. It is up to Jack to survive the long night on Mars and uncover the truth about what really happened to the crew.

Fort Solis is a video game that takes inspiration from popular games like “Firewatch” and “Until Dawn.” It’s a mix of gameplay and storytelling that makes you feel like you’re part of the story.
The game is divided into four parts, and you can play it all at once or take your time and play it chapter by chapter, like a TV show.
