The popular manga and anime series DRAGON QUEST: The Adventure of Dai now has its very own action role-playing game. Square Enix has been released the game on September 28 for PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC.
Developed by Game Studio and Kai Graphics, Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai is an action role-playing game that lets players experience the events of the exhilarating anime series Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai first-hand.
The game features original manga and anime characters, such as Dai and the Disciples of Avan. The new game also adapts the first 41 episodes of the 2020 anime remake, which follows the story of Dai as he struggles to become a hero.
Infinity Strash will be the third release from Square Enix’s Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai multimedia project, which includes the original manga and a mobile game that just ended its service.
Infinity Strash Gameplay
Taking on the role of Dai, who fights to defeat the monstrous Dark Army, the gameplay features two modes. The Story Mode follows the narrative of the TV series up to and including the Sovereign Rock Castle story arc, while The Temple of Recollection mode allows players to adventure in a dungeon that changes every playthrough. As the player progresses through the dungeon, they can collect Bond Memories that recreate scenes from the original manga.
These Bond Memories can be powered up in the Temple of Recollection mode, giving players more powerful accessories to use as they hack and slash their way through hordes of enemies.
