Offworld Trading Company is a strategy and management simulation set on Mars. You take control of one of the four factions specified in the game by starting a business focused on establishing new human colonies on Mars.
The action level in the game is quite high. Your company will need various basic needs, and you will be able to trade and mine to meet them. You will fight in the market with rival companies. And your weapons will be corporate spying and administrative decisions in this game.
The main goal in the game is not to destroy the rival companies and become the sole owner of the market but to take over the competitor’s company.
You should definitely check out the tutorial before starting the game. The tutorial part of the game almost gives you a short lesson in economics and company management. They explain very well the basics like price volatility, patents and buying stock from your competitor, price gouging, and manipulation. The game also features top management information such as managing hostile takeovers, protecting stocks, and using the black market.
As a result, Offworld Trading Company is not a game that can be played and finished immediately after purchasing and downloading. It is a game that you can play and enjoy for a long time.
