Welcome To Kowloon’s Lore Impressive And Characters Are Well Developed

This game has a really good story with lots of surprises that will keep you engaged until the end. Though it might be a little hard to follow at first, the writer does a great job of pulling everything together for a satisfying conclusion. The story also has some really touching moments that might make you feel emotional.

The character development in Welcome to Kowloon is quite impressive. Every character is given ample attention and care, making them all feel like fully fleshed-out individuals. It’s really quite remarkable how well-rounded they all are, with their own unique personalities, quirks, and motivations. It makes for a truly captivating story that keeps you invested in the characters and their journeys.

The graphics are amazing, and the sounds of the city are very realistic. The detail-rich environment and well-placed lighting offer an immersive experience. However, the use of jump scares is excessive and makes the game’s “scare factor” feel “cheap”.

The Gameplay is Standard But Frustrating

The game has a wide variety of levels and features, including poisonous puddles, scary granny traps, and countless other dangerous traps. The gameplay was standard but frustrating. Puzzle-solving and condition-based progression were pretty typical for the genre.

The Fisheye Camera Lens is A Drawback

The only drawback is the fisheye camera lens and also the jitters that are severe when moving and looking around at the same time. However, the game is still worth it if you can handle the length and the apocalyptic setting.

Despite its dark and disturbing nature, the city is also a source of hope for those who live within it. N4bA’s game is an incredible work of art that reveals the strength and courage of the human spirit in the face of extreme adversity.

Welcome to Kowloon is available for PCs on Steam.
