Halo Infinite is one of the Xbox classics that has been turned into a free-to-play gaming model in the past year. Since it adopted the free-to-play model, the number of active players has boomed! Of course, just like most free-to-play first-person shooter games, Halo Infinite also has seasons, in which players rank depending on their win and loss numbers. We are about to leave Season 1 behind in Halo Infinite, and recently, 343 Industries announced that Halo Infinite Season 2 will be launched soon. If you would like to learn more about the new season and its news, keep reading!
Last Friday, developer 343 Industries announced that Halo Infinite Season 2 is going to be launched on May 3. The name of Season 2 will be “Lone Wolves,” and the new season will come with many innovations and new mechanics. One of the notable improvements is the new maps. In addition to this, a new battle pass system will be introduced with the new season, and players will have access to new modes.
Halo Infinite Season 2 Comes with New Maps, New Modes, and New Customization Options
We had a chance to check out some of the new maps. One of these maps is called “Catalyst,” an arena map, and the other is called “Breaker,” a big team map. You can also take a look at these maps by watching the trailer released on Friday by 343 Industries.
Players can also enjoy two new modes. These modes were already outlined in the previous months. The Last Spartan mode will be a free-for-all elimination mode, while Land Grab will be an altered and updated version of King of the Hill.
If you want, you can also learn the details of the new battle pass system, progression, and customization options by visiting the reports of 343 Industries. These reports were prepared in line with the feedback they received from the testers.
It is worth noting that 343 Industries also announced that Halo Infinite Season 2 will offer more customization options compared to Season 1. One of the notable customization options is the helmet. Players who purchase the premium battle pass will also receive 1,000 CR, which is the official credit of Halo Infinite.
If you would like to learn more about the Lone Wolf art, you can check out the early look of the concept art, released a month ago by 343 Industries. We believe that you are going to love the new art concept designed for the new season.
Halo Infinite Season 2 will come out with these new features and more. So, another great season awaits us in Halo after May 3.
