With seven tips we have cooked, your journey will be a piece of pizza.
Change Your Picks to Maximise Fun
TMNT Shredder’s Revenge offers you many characters to enjoy. From the begging, you can play with all the turtles, Splinter, and April. As you progress, you can unlock Casey Jones as well. Make sure to check our article to unlock Casey Jones without a sweat. A total of SEVEN fighters. I know that everybody has their favorite pick and a playstyle. But each has its own weapon and skills to improve the gameplay experience. So, mix the arena with different characters.
Practice Makes Perfect
If you are not good at a game with the retro-combat style, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge might be tough first several minutes. And playing with many characters (like we suggested) might make things more complicated. Take your time. Talk to friends, look up in wiki and improve yourself. Our tips will help. But without smashing buttons, they are useless. Always remember what Master Splinter has said: The path that leads to what we truly desire is long and difficult, but only by following that path do we achieve our goal.
Fight with High, Low, and Flying Attacks
We can suggest striking enemies in variations for button smashing and path following. Trying new combos and changing your tactics for each enemy will aid your journey significantly. Our best advice is to use the sliding attack, which does a good amount of damage and trips the enemies. You can also share your favorite move in the comment section.
Left Nothing Behind!
After some tips about overall combat, you must smash everything you can along the way. All the moves you have practiced (probably on enemies) are helpful on crates, popcorn machines, and tool boxes. These things can offer healthy pizzas and collectibles that are way more important than you think. Because finding collectibles will complete side-quests leads to upgrades(like higher HP and new moves).
Use Your Surroundings
Another tool that assists your gameplay: traps. They might annoy you in the game. But you can use traps for your own advantage. Try to use them for extra damage.
Use Taunt to Build Up Power
In many games, taunting is the cheesy part. You will annoy players and make some laughs. In TMNT Shredder’s Revenge, it will fuel the Super Attack. Always remember to do it at the right time. Taunting (like in many titles) will make you vulnerable to enemies. As a side note, Super Attack isn’t the most deadly weapon. Using it against a boss fight is a good idea. But, we highly recommend it when you are up against too many enemies.
