Fate/Samurai Remnant Characters

A new game called Fate/Samurai Remnant is out now! It's based on a popular anime and video game series and tells stories from ancient Japan. Discover Fate/Samurai Remnant's characters with this article.

Fate/Samurai Remnant focuses on two main characters named Miyamoto Lori, and Saber. But you can also play as other characters sometimes. Some of the characters in this role-playing game are based on real people from history. If you’re a fan of the series, you might want to check out this article to know the Fate/Samurai Remnant characters.

Miyamoto Lori and Saber

Miyamoto Lori, a former student of swordsman Musashi Miyamoto, is a deadly swordswoman in her own right. She also claims to be a descendant of the legendary Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, the Excalibur-esque sword of legend held by Sun Goddess Amaterasu and brought forth from the serpent Yamata-no-Orochi by Storm God Susanoo.

Saber, Lori’s Servant, is a formidable swordsman as well. Their uchigatanaWP-length sword is hidden by a sheath that can release watery attacks, and their Noble Phantasm is a sunburst similar to Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, further connecting them to the sword of legend. With long green hair and a jacked body, fans speculate that this Rogue Saber resembles Samson from the Bible’s Book of Judges for his immense strength.

Their combat is fast and flashy, involving frequent cooperative attacks between Iori and Saber. It’s a welcome change of pace for the franchise, which is known for relying heavily on anime-esque visuals and giddy exposition to deliver its action.

Zheng Chenggong and Archer

One of the available Servants in Fate/Samurai Remnant is Zheng Zhilong, also known as Koxinga, a formidable Archer. He is half-Japanese and half-Chinese and is notorious for his merciless attacks on the Dutch colonizers in Taiwan. On the battlefield, he is a force to be reckoned with because of his unwavering loyalty, bravery, and ferocity.

Zheng Chenggong has an archer-class servant who diligently respects and follows his Master. He expertly wields his bow and arrow to aid him in battle.

Chiemon and Lancer

Chiemon is a mysterious man, his face obscured by layers of cloth. He managed to survive the great rebellion that rocked the peaceful era of Shimabara and Amakusa. Now, he has made his appearance in Edo with nothing to his name.

His lancer-class servant wields two spears and black flames, which cause dark flowers to bloom on the battlefield. Despite her constant gloominess, there seems to be a reason behind her demeanor.

Yui Shousetsu and Rider

Yui Shousetsu is a devoted warrior and respected military scholar among ronin. She operates a military academy in Edo and has decided to pledge her allegiance to the shogunate prior to the Waxing Moon Ritual, although she harbors some reservations.

She has a rider-class servant who dons black armor and wields a lengthy sword with unwavering ferocity, mercilessly dispatching any foes that cross their path.

Tsuchimikado Yasuhiro and Caster

Players will likely be able to command Tsuchimikado Yasuhiro and Caster as their initial servants in the upcoming Fate/Samurai Remnant game.

Tsuchimikado Yasuhiro is a lineal descendant of Abe-no-Seimei and the leader of the Tsuchimikado family, who are known for their onmyouji heritage. He is believed to be the Observer responsible for overseeing the Waxing Moon Ritual.

His caster class servant seems to be involved in some questionable activities related to the Waxing Moon Ritual. However, there is no additional information available regarding his intentions or true identity.

Dorothea Coyett and Assassin

Dorothea Coyett is a young woman who traveled to Japan on a big ship from another country. She is the daughter of a Swedish nobleman named Fredrik Coyett, and she’s really good at magic. She goes to a really fancy school called the Clock Tower where they learn all about magic.

Dorothea has a special servant of the assassin class who is really good at sneaking around and being quiet. He looks like a gray ghost with long arms and legs that move like whips. People say that he can control lots of snakes, too!

Takao Dayu and Berserker

Takao Dayu is a highly sought-after courtesan who works at Miura-ya, a prominent brothel located in the Yoshiwara district of Edo. Known for her exquisite beauty, she attracted the attention of many prominent men, including feudal lords. As a Dayu, the highest rank of courtesan, Takao is one of the three most popular in the area.

Takao Dayu has a servant of the berserker class. Her true name is Miyamoto Musashi, a renowned swordswoman and the creator of the Niten Ichiryu swordsmanship style. Despite sharing the same name as Iori’s teacher, there are noticeable differences in her appearance that set her apart from the person Iori knew.

Rogue Servants

Rogue Servants are masterless Servants with powerful Noble Phantasm and impressive strength. Players can summon them to take control of holy ground, expand their influence, and seize enemies’ holy grounds.

As with other Servants, they’ll also have a sword maintenance minigame that grants bonus effects. Koei Tecmo hasn’t named any Rogue Servants yet, but fans are already theorizing about their identities.
