Palworld Lovander Overview
Lovander is a Palworld creature that specializes in defensive combat. It’s a great ally to have in battles, as it can help you reduce the amount of damage you take. Additionally, Lovander has the added bonus of dropping more loot than other Pals, including a valuable cake that can be used to breed Pals. So not only can you benefit from Lovander’s abilities in combat, you can also hunt it for its drops and use them to enhance your Pal collection.
Lovanders are creatures that are active at night and can only be seen during that time, except for when they are raiding. Unlike Grintale, they tend to move around instead of sleeping. They usually live alone, but sometimes can be found in pairs. Lovanders are quick runners and can attack and flee in a short time, but they can still be seen after sunrise and disappear only when the sun is up. If you choose Lovander as your Base Pal, it will require a bed to sleep in during the night, even though it is typically active at night. This might be because it’s not a Dark-element Pal.
It’s important to keep in mind that Lovander’s animations, like its idle pose with a hand on its hip, are meant to be alluring. Moreover, when you pet Lovander, it will show a distinct facial expression.
Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that Lovander doesn’t actively chase other Pals around, despite what you might have seen in the preview video or the Paldeck entry.
Where To Find Lovander in Palworld?
Lovander is a rare creature that only appears in the desert areas of the Palworld map during the night. If you’re looking to find Lovander, your best bet is to go near the Investigator’s Fork Fast Travel statue, as it usually spawns several Lovander that are around level 19.
It’s important to note that you won’t be able to come across Lovander in any other biomes or during daylight hours. Usually, you’ll find Lovander alone or accompanied by another creature of its kind. However, if your world settings are set to increase Pal spawn rates, you might be lucky enough to come across a larger group of these creatures.
How To Catch Lovander in Palworld?
If you happen to wander into the Desert region at the epicenter of the map, nestled deep within the Forest biome, you’ll come across a legendary Pal by the name of Lovander.
Capturing this elusive creature requires Pal Spheres of varying rarities, depending on the Pal’s level. If Lovander’s health is low, you can use a Giga Pal Sphere for a guaranteed 100-percent catch rate. However, if you’re in the northeastern desert biome, Lovander appears at a higher level, around level 38, which means that catching it would require the use of a Hyper or Ultra Pal Sphere to have a fighting chance.
