Cartoon graphics, unending chaos, crazy gun variations, and dialogues full of humor. I am sure you all know which game we are talking about: Borderlands. Even if you see a screenshot, you will understand which game it is. A third game was released two years prior, to great success. This year, on March the 25th, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was released on Epic Games. It’s a sequel to Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC in Borderlands 2. It has everything on the checklist: crazy guns, funny characters, and what is happening on my screen action.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is an FPS with Borderlands mechanics. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K, who also published Civilization VI, XCOM 2, and the Bioshock series.
The game starts right after the events of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. It’s not necessary to play the previous games. But we recommend you play Borderlands 2 and the DLC if you haven’t played them yet.
In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, we are playing a board game where Tiny Tina makes the rules. The main story is entertaining overall, but it is a bit blending compared to the other aspects of the game. The voicing of the characters, dialogue, and humor have the same taste as the previous games; delicious. It’s time to talk about the gameplay.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has more or less the same mechanics and gameplay as Borderlands 3. But that doesn’t mean it is bad. On the contrary, having more chaos and action in a new world is so much fun. Also, the game offers almost endless variations of guns with wild combinations. Fully automated crossbow or a pistol with so many add-ons you won’t even recognize what type of gun it is (yes, we are talking about Boinking Liquid Cooling of the Nerves). The game also has the spell feature as a replacement for grenades. It is easy to get used to because creating tornadoes is very pleasant.
Considering all these things, we are sure it’s not hard to imagine how the gameplay looks. New enemies and good-old characters mix old memories with new ones.
Where to Get Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gave us the Borderlands experience. We are glad to see high-quality games after three releases. It is challenging to create new games in the same world after two or three. But Gearbox Software showed us that they are capable of it. Even though the game isn’t on Steam yet, you can find it on Epic for $59,99. The game also has a Chaotic Great Edition and a Season Pass (very surprised). If you already have the game, you can check out Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Shift and Skeleton Codes.
