Like a Dragon: Ishin substories can be very helpful as you advance the game’s core story, particularly when it comes to gaining powerful business management partners and Poundmate summons. Some of these are relatively easy to get through, while others can be a little more difficult, especially if you’re attempting them as you play the game for the first time. For example, the dumpster of demise substory can be difficult to find, but it’s incredibly quick and simple once you know where to look.
Another great thing about these substories is that a nice reward, whether new items or cash, usually accompanies them. As well as that, many of the Poundmate summons and powerful business management partners are also unlocked through these side quests, so they’re an excellent way to get some extra currency during your playtime.

They’re all available after completing certain objectives, though if you don’t complete them quickly enough, they may not appear on your map.
