Broken Pieces is a fun action and adventure game that will let you get lost in time. The game was released a few days ago, and we believe it will be one of the most popular games in the coming days.
However, considering the official numbers on its Steam page, we can easily say that Broken Pieces did not make a good start. Although the game received very positive feedback, the number of players who purchased the game is quite low for such an indie game.

The game was developed by Elseware Experience, Mael Vignaux and Benoit Dereau and published by Freedom Games on September 9, 2022. Its affordable price makes it worth trying. In addition to these, the game supports eleven languages for the interface and subtitles. The full audio is only available in English and French.
Although Broken Pieces may be a relatively short game, it was developed by a team of five people. In addition, the game received the Best Sound Design Award from Unfold Games Awards 2021 and was an Epic MegaGrants Recipient.
Broken Pieces Story Offers A Unique Adventure
Broken Pieces is about Elise and her fiancé. The couple decides to enjoy urban life and moves near the French coast. However, things will not go as planned, and extraordinary things will start to happen.
As a result, the village they moved to will move out of the flow of time, and Elise will be on her own. The game takes place in the 1990s and offers atmospheric gameplay to players. She has to investigate this mysterious event and find a way back to her time. However, she will face many challenges during her adventure.
Broken Pieces Gameplay Features
The total gameplay of the game takes about nine to twelve hours. It mainly focuses on exploration and discovery, where players will enjoy the 1990s. You can choose between two camera angles to enjoy cinematic gameplay.
Your main goal will be to interact with your environment and reveal the mystery behind this event so you can go back. While doing so, you are going to solve many puzzles to keep progressing. Of course, you are going to encounter weird creatures, which you will have to take down.
The combats take place with a fixed camera angle, which makes the game more interesting. Besides using arms, you will also use your powers to dodge your enemies or keep them at a distance to take them down safely.
