After the fascinating and scary trailer of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Fly in a Web, we finally had some information about its story, gameplay, and antagonist. The trailer revealed many things, like a green hand that can transfer electricity, grappling, and a new antagonist. Today, we will be talking about everything we know about the new antagonist, Mommy Long Legs.
In the trailer, we saw a big toy with veeerrry long legs and arms. It was terrifying and was referred to as “Mommy” in the trailer. Mommy Long Legs was produced in 1991 and has a human-like face with anime eyes and pink skin. Yeah, it doesn’t sound so scary. But, we know that MOB Games is very talented at making toys horrifying. She has elastic arms and legs like spaghetti. We don’t know what she can do with them. But we are sure that she will not do something pleasant. What we know is that Mommy Long Legs will move on all fours. It’s very creepy, and we can’t imagine seeing something like this on our screen.
Even though a terrifying character is a good sign that we are getting a scary sequel, it is not enough. “What she can do” and “how important she is” are still important questions. We put our trust in MOB Games because they have done an amazing job in the Poppy Playtime Chapter 1. They are informing the community constantly. We can’t wait to see its release.
