Did you know that since the 1970s, a beaver colony in Canada has put in a multi-generational effort to build a dam twice the size of the Hoover Dam? It seems that humans are not the only creatures on earth who love big constructions.
Inspired by this historical story, the game’s developer, Mechanistry, is creating a beaver-based city-building game. Timberborn is a city-building game. But unlike the other city-building games, you will build a city for beavers.
You will build new greener cities, develop new technologies, and grow new crops in the game, which tells the story of a few smart beavers who remained in the world after humanity disappeared.
Timberborn Early Access On Steam
Timberborn is now preparing to release in the Early Access phase on Steam and Epic Games Store. You can buy the game from early access and contribute to its development.
Remember, Early Access games are still in development, so there may be some troubles in the game, therefore, it may get many updates. So, it is normal to see some changes in the game.
Timberborn Release Date
As you can see at the end of the trailer, September 15th is the planned Early Access launch date for the game. The release date of the game is not published officially. But we know that the games are usually released six months after the Early Access phase. So we can expect that the game will initially release in March 2022.
